Salmon Fishing with Pops (2020) SW Dipsy Diver Getting it Done

Salmon Fishing with my Dad LeRoy. We dialed in on a good spoon bite where the fish wanted long leads so the SW (secret weapon) dipsy took the most bites. The SW Dipsy works by putting a loop in your main line where the dipsy attaches via an S spring clip. I run a 50 foot leader after the dipsy. No hand lining or tricky settings. Here is a video of that set up /watch/0sTIkis7O-47I The SW downrigger took the first fish. It is 2 colors of 27# leadcore line with a 15' leader that goes out beyond your rigger weight. All these rigs get your baits back away from the boat for the days when the fish are being boat shy. You don't need them all the time but on days like this they will put fish in the boat.
