@TyrellKnifeworks3 years agoYou come up with some of the most unique ideas! I also think viewers might not understand how complicated it is to forge an integral guard like this. Well done, great build! 👍🏻 37
@
@theriversexperience93833 years agoThat guards is nuts man, I didn't realize it was integral. Jeez, I wish that all the viewers understood the awesomeness of this build. 16

@jeffryrichardson35373 years agoOmg dude I love that Damascus pattern. I am very impressed on the method you used to get it. Very simple way to get an outstanding look on the Bowie build. One of my favorite blade designs. I will remember that little nugget of a trick for the pattern. Awesome job man. Love your work. ...4

@billwoehl30517 months ago🤔🤔🤔🤔 this gives me an idea, dot matrix pictures as the pattern, different sizes, different shades, maybe even possible to get someone with enough talent to make it look like a photograph of somebody. 🤫 1

@
@ShootingUtah3 years agoMight be one of my favorite knives you've made on here. Makes me want to build a press and a bigger forge. I'm just at the hand forging level as of now so such a big integral guard would be pretty hard given my setup. Awesome work! ...2
@
@Joe_Bandit3 years agoVery cool. Wonder what it would look like if you twisted the block? 1
@
@AIIZreviews3 years agoThank you for saying Bowie correctly. You can teach Dennis Tyrell how to say it

@
@Anderson-HandForged3 years agoawesome knife very cool design and love the pattern Mark 1
@
@reubencdebaca24083 years agoGreat build! This is probably the strongest and most useful knife of the lot being that it is a solid one piece including the guard, but that said, a contrasting guard of another metal really makes a knife look great. If I had to choose one to use in the outdoors, this would be the one that gets my vote, as it is rugged and strong, but not too pretty that I'd care if it got beat up during use. ...1

@NORTHBROOK19783 years agoI seen a video the other day that used a dolphin wired out..and then put into to make Damascus. I would love to cut something out at work and send it to you.. I'm still working on my press..it's on the back burner for now. But I'm a machinist that has access to an EDM wire. Maybe some skulls or something like that. ...

@markmatt91743 years agoHey Guys; going to post this in all the videos. Have to say lived these builds & was a HARD choice since we only get 1 vote. Would be better to have a 1, 2, and 3 choices since many channels have fewer subs but did great builds. That way there could be a bit more of an average top choices & determination of top 5 kind of challenge. @Tyrell Knifeworks got my vote but @Green Beetle, @Red Bears Ops, @Wengels Workshop were all right there at great builds for a 2 or 3 place fight. ...
@
@kassiog.65952 years agoMan midway there the billet looked like shit, only someone as skilled as you could have turned tha lump of steel on such a beautiful blade 1
@
@peteharder63252 years agoProbably a dumb question, but how well does 1060 retain an edge? 1
@
@rudy19173 years agoCan someone please tell me when the voting was done and who won? I have been searching for the day, but I know I must have missed it. Thank you everybody.
