You know that, many people are restless due to the pain of texting on mobile phones. Because, mobile operators regularly send text messages to inform customers about new packages and services. However, The Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission ( BTRC ) on Saturday ( 24 April 2021) announced ways to block such text messages. According to the BTRC notification, 'Do Not Disturb or DND' service has been launched to further improve the quality of service. If you don't want to receive commercial promotional text messages on your mobile phone, you can dial USDD code to get this service. In case of Grameenphone dial * 121 * 1101 #, in case of Banglalink dial * 121 * 8 * 6 # and in case of Robi and Airtel dial * 7 # no commercial promotional text message will come. BTRC said in a statement that commercial promotional text messages play a helpful role in helping mobile operators learn about the latest services. However, in some cases, it seems annoying to receive such text messages from customers. In Bangla: মুঠোফোনে খুদে বার্তার যন্ত্রণায় অনেকেই অতিষ্ঠ। মোবাইল অপারেটরগুলো নিয়মিত গ্রাহকদের নতুন নতুন প্যাকেজ ও সেবা সম্পর্কে জানাতে খুদে বার্তা পাঠাতে থাকে। বাংলাদেশ টেলিযোগাযোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ কমিশন (বিটিআরসি) আজ শনিবার এ ধরনের খুদে বার্তা বন্ধের উপায় জানিয়েছে। বিটিআরসির বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে জানানো হয়েছে, সেবার মান আরও উন্নত করতে ‘ডু নট ডিস্টার্ব বা ডিএনডি’ সেবা চালু হয়েছে। মুঠোফোনে বাণিজ্যিক প্রচারণামূলক খুদে বার্তা না পেতে চাইলে ইউএসডিডি কোড ডায়াল করে চালু করা যাবে এ সেবা। গ্রামীণফোনের ক্ষেত্রে *১২১ * ১১০১# ডায়াল করে, বাংলালিংকের ক্ষেত্রে *১২১*৮*৬# ডায়াল করে এবং রবি ও এয়ারটেলের ক্ষেত্রে *৭# ডায়াল করলে বাণিজ্যিক প্রচারণামূলক খুদে বার্তা আসবে না। বিটিআরসি বিজ্ঞপ্তি বলেছে, মোবাইল অপারেটরদের নিত্যনতুন সেবা সম্পর্কে জানতে বাণিজ্যিক প্রচারণামূলক খুদে বার্তা সহায়ক ভূমিকা পালন করে। তবে ক্ষেত্রবিশেষে গ্রাহকদের কাছে এ ধরনের খুদে বার্তা প্রাপ্তি বিরক্তিকর বলে প্রতীয়মান হয়। Source (Only for fair use): http://www.btrc.gov.bd/notice-board/notice-regarding-launching-do-not-disturb-dnd-service-promotional-sms Please subscribe my channel ibrahimjnu Thank you. ❤️
