You can make a delicious apple crisp in the slow cooker! The pecans and oats give the topping a "crisp" texture.

RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
42 oz. apple pie filling (two 21-oz. cans)
2/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup oatmeal (rolled oats)
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup salted butter melted
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
pinch salt
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
5-quarts or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the pie filling to the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a large bowl add the remaining ingredients, stir until a crumble forms.
Sprinkle this evenly over the apples.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2.5 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
Serve topped with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
