Chloe/Clark | | Holding on to you forever

Where do I even begin to talk about this video? So a couple months ago, I went to my 9 year old cousin's dance recital, and one of the soloists danced to this song. Now, for some reason, whenever I listen to a new song, I always try to see if it fits Chlark(because I'm a freak), and when I was hearing this song, I thought it was freaking perfect. Once I had started the video, I realized it would also go really well with Finchel from Glee, and so I asked my friend Tara (angelish94) to make the video. Well, she did, and here's the link, be sure to check it out: /watch/g_Cy0w12-sO2y Well, this video is kind of an emotional roller coaster for me. I did get to use some of my favorite scenes of them, but to be able to actually make this work, I had to use some of the scenes I hated the most. For example, the scene from Persuasion at 0:22 -- 0:28 is probably my least favorite scene from the entire series, actually. Chloe is finally opening up to Clark about everything she's had to go through, and she's practically begging for him to just be there for here(because he hadn't been), and instead he turns around and tells her that she needs to watch his back better. The other scene that really kills me is from 0:40 -- 0:50 where Clark is the hugest ass to Chloe, and while Clark supporters try to chalk it up to the red kryptonite(or they just say Chloe deserved it, which is ridiculous), he clearly says that it wasn't all the red kryptonite, which is why I felt that it was really important for me to use the voiceover right there. (Those are just a couple of the scenes that really bugged me, but I'll just let the rest stand for themselves.) So, basically this video is about how Chloe has always been loyal to Clark, and the favor isn't always returned. At the same time, I tried to be able to include some of the times that Clark has been there for Chloe, because I know the relationship isn't completely one-sided, it just felt like that sometimes during the last couple of seasons. Still, I love Chlark more than I've ever loved a pairing before, and quite possibly more than I will ever love another pairing. The relationship has had it's flaws, but it's lasted 10 years, and haters can just shove it.
